Penzance is celebrating a key milestone as work is completed on the first two schemes to be delivered as part of the Town Deal funded Sustainable Travel Network project.
Following the July meeting of Newlyn Pier & Harbour Commissioners (NP&HC), the appointment of two representatives from Cornwall Council to the Board and the ongoing progress of the Newlyn Marine Skills & Resource Centre are among the latest developments at the Port.
Work on the long-awaited scheme to make Market Jew Street and Market Place safer and more attractive and welcoming place for people living, working and visiting the centre of Penzance will begin on Monday, 21 July.
