James George is a local businessman with deep expertise in the retail and leisure industry. James is a Partner in a strategy consulting firm, an investor in a number of leisure businesses and a proud Cornishman.
Roger Doo
Roger Doo is a semi-retired Chartered Engineer who has worked in manufacturing industry for both large and small companies including at board level. He is keen to use his experience to help the Town Deal in its aim to stimulate the economy and improve the quality of life in the Newlyn and Penzance area.
John Forsyth
John Forsyth is a resident in Penzance. Now retired, John originally trained as a civil engineer and town planner. He worked in local government and higher education, and was involved as a consultant in numerous regeneration projects in London, Cornwall, across the South West and beyond.

About the Town Deal Lead Authority
The Government has designated Cornwall Council as the Lead Authority for the Towns Fund in Cornwall. This means the funding will flow through Cornwall Council who will administer the fund, manage the contracts with each project, ensure the funding is channelled and used appropriately. Ultimately, the Lead Authority reports to Government on delivery and impact of the projects.
